Rainbow Club Charity Function – Fri 2^nd Dec – Vale Royal Suite

Hi Tracey,

 What a fantastic job you and your staff did for us on Friday night. The room was beautifully set out and the table dressing was lovely. Many people commented on the quality of the food and I don't think I saw any plates that were not clean!

 As I have said to you in person, you have been very obliging in all the dealings we have had with you and would not hesitate to recommend Best Western Forest Hills Hotel to anyone. 

 If we should repeat this in the future, we will certainly use the hotel and your services again. I know you realise that we had a number of difficulties with the initial charity, but in spite of this we still managed to raise £410.00 for a very good cause, Frodsham Rainbow Club. I know they will be thrilled with such a donation.

 Please also thank Mr & Mrs McCabe for their help and hospitality on the night.

30th Wedding Anniversary – 3^rd December  – Alvanley Suite

Hello Charlotte

I am very well thanks and hope you are too.  The whole celebration was a great success!  I cannot express how pleased and impressed I was with all the staff involved.  They went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely time.  The lads behind the bar and serving were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious and piping hot, the room looked a delight and I can honestly say my husband, children and all my family had a fantastic time.  It was an anniversary we will never forget.

Please pass my sincere thanks to all involved and we would happily recommend your hotel to anyone……  and thank you so much for your involvement, without which we probably would not have chosen the Forest Hills.

Birthday – Sat 15^th Oct – Restaurant

Food was better than he’s ever known, lots of good comments and particularly happy with having the children’s gluten free meals served separately – They have been to lots of places and the children and parents are always worried about gluten free but they didn’t have to worry here. The staff were wonderful, they stayed for 3 days, they can’t remember everyone’s name but the new girl on the bar Saturday 15^th in the Overton was wonderful. Special thanks to Katie and Paula in the Restaurant, he said all staff did the hotel proud.

Wedding - 17^th September – Overton

Thank you for your email.  The Big Day was fantastic as was our Honeymoon.

Forest Hills was superb and really looked after Caroline well both on the Friday and the Saturday.  Kieran and Bob were brilliant on the day and Kieran in particular was a legend for so many reasons.  Nothing we asked for was too much trouble and the room looked magnificent.

Every staff member on duty that day was brilliant and I didn’t have time to thank them all.  The food was great and Bob looked after our photographers.

We have nothing but praise for the hotel and its staff.  We also mustn’t forget all the hard work that you and Charlotte did in the months before the Big Day.

Gourmet Night – Friday 16^th Sept – Restaurant

I have been to most of the Gourmet Evenings that you have had and I would say that this one was one of the best. We all thought that the food was excellent and that the wines complemented the food very well. I spoke to the new wine presenter and complemented her on the selection. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely be attending future Gourmet Evenings.

Coach Stop – Sunday 14^th August

Hello, Tracey.  I just want to say how much our party enjoyed the visit to the Forest Hills yesterday.  It rounded off an excellent half-day outing following a very interesting tour of Port Sunlight village.  The hotel staff looked after us extremely well and the carvery meal was considered superb by everyone!  The general food quality was first-class. The roast beef was delicious, as good as any I’ve tasted in a long time and really tender. And the great selection of vegetables was exceptional.  The views from the raised dining area completed the picture. We look forward very much to visiting you again on a future trip. Many thanks for all your assistance with the arrangements. 

Wedding – Sunday 7^th Aug – Vale Royal Suite

Just like to say a huge thank you for everything that you and the staff did to make our wedding day run as smoothly as it did. The day was perfect, the food was fantastic and was thoroughly enjoyed by all of our guests. Even Will's uncle who isn't a fan of weddings said it was the best wedding he had ever been to!! We couldn't have wished for it to be any more perfect. The arrival on the horse turned a few heads and apparently I am going to have a picture in the new brochure! 

The staff were all fantastic and did everything possible to make our day special. We cant thank you all enough. Iv uploaded a couple of pictures for you to have a look at, our day was perfect. Thank you!

The two days was a great success. The internet connection was a major benefit in the conference room to us and your staff were spot on as always.

The Long Distance Walkers Association 17^th & 18^th July

Everything went really well, couldn't of asked for a better night.  Disco was great, table decorations were great and the food was lovely, Bob and the staff were brilliant on the night and lots of people said what a great night it was.

Bride and Groom; Thank you very much!....we had a fabulous day and were so pleased with how smoothly everything went.  Everything at the reception/evening went very well, the room was set up perfectly, the greeting on arrival was lovely and the food was beautiful, there were so many great comments from our guests.  All the staff we dealt with were fantastic.  I felt like we didn't have to do a thing all day, everything was done for us.  We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Forest Hills and I'm quite sure we'll be back in the future.

Gourmet Night – Friday 20^th May 2011

 Party of 6 -  We had a fab time on Friday, daytime and night time, made full use of the leisure facilities! The gourmet evening was lovely, table, food and wine just perfect, thank you very much.

 I am sure that we will be returning in the not too distant future.

Table for 2 – Surprise Treat for Wife;    It all worked out fine. She had a great day, had a walk over the Golf course, then a swim and jacuzzi, we had a lovely room with a nice view, enjoyed the nice bottle of Red, had a fine meal ( nice table  and watched the sun go down ) and the wines were really nice, then the bubbly and I don't remember much after that !!! until the breakfast ( real fried bread !! what a treat )

She had a lovely day, so from both of us a big thanks, I know you personally were responsible for most of it !! We filled in the survey in the room and handed to reception and I have already suggested the event to some of our friends, who will probably book onto one of the events before Christmas. So thanks again Charlotte, your a top lass.

Table x 4  – Hi Charlotte,  we had a lovely time at the forest hills.  The gourmet meal was very tasty we have been recommending you to all our friends. 

Table x 6 – We all had a fantastic night, although a little subdued at the breakfast table ! ( Can't think why !!) We are hoping to repeat the experience in September and December if we are all available. Thanks to all the staff for making my birthday a really memorable occasion. Andrew and his staff could not have done more.

Group Dinner – Saturday 14^th May – Restaurant

Saturday night was wonderful. We all had an amazing time and the food was absolutely delicious.

Nobody had any issues with anything and were we were seated was nice and private.

I would definatly recommend the restaurant!! Fantastic service. Please give our compliments to the chef!

 

Scout Function – Fri 29^th April – VRS

We had a fantastic time the room looked great, the meal was lovely couldn't fault anything. Best of all John was totally suprised, thank you for everything you done for us.

Hope to use forest hills again.

 Christening  – Sunday 24^th April – Overton

We had a fantastic Christening day thank you and Forest Hills once again provided the perfect setting for the Christening party. Manager Andrew (I think that was his name!) was brilliant and tended to all my requests! The food was lovely and room looked beautiful. The weather was unbelievably nice so most people sat outside!

Jonathan has told William that he has to have his 18th, 21st and wedding at Forest Hills as they can guarantee great weather!

 

Casino Dinner Dance - 12th March 2011 - Hilltops Restaurant

I would like to say a big thank you for a wonderful weekend.  The girls in the treatment centre were amazing, so friendly and welcoming and even carried our shoes and belongings back to our room for us as we had enjoyed a manicure and pedicure.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly faces and all the staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and we felt very well looked after.  The room was lovley as was the atmosphere throughout all the hotel.

We really enjoyed the meal and the casino night, and the birthday girl even won a bottle of wine!

We will certainly be coming back again and will definitely recommend it to all our friends.

Just wanted to say thanks for this weekend, we had a brill time, definately one to remember my 40th by, very well organised thanks to you Tracey. Everyone enjoyed it and were really impressed with what it all involved and the price.  They will definatley let their friends know!  Lunch was perfect, evening dinner and dance brill, DJ very obliging and food lovely.

Christening was lovley thank you and the staff were superb.  Your Chef even went that extra mile when the cake was damaged during transit, by making some last minute repairs!

We would just like to say a big thank you.  We stayed over at the Hotel on the 15th January, we were a large gorup totalling 22 people, the service was second to none as it always is.  We would like to say a special thank you to Tracey the events organiser who went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfectly planned.  Finally to Kieran who made sure everyone was happy, this was a special touch that all the party commented on.  We will see you again in May.

Great Family Hotel - September 2010

We stayed in this hotel for a short break away from home and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  The hotle is clean and the staff courteous.  We were impressed with the family welcome atmosphere and we will be returning this weekend with our 2 year old son.  The pool area is really nice and the prices of the food ( even on room service) are very reasonable, making this a realistic family break for those on a tight budget.

Corporate Traveller - September 2010

To keep this short, this is "The " Hotel of choice when I'm in this part of the world.  I've probably been a dozen times.  Theres a good leisure club, good bedrooms, good showers and an excellent, really I mean excellent restaurant for both Dinner and Breakfast.  Being quite elevated there are some good vistas.

Serivce is also excellent with none of the "I only work here" attitude you sometimes encounter with the big chains - staff are genuinley pleased to be of assistance.  The reception staff are all very good especially Elaine.

Myself and my husband stayed just 1 night, will be going back and staying longer, the hotel is in a lovley location the view from our room was excellent, we had a short walk around the grounds, the hotel was fully booked but was very quiet.  Reception staff on both days were very friendly 10 out of 10, had a lovley breakfast in Hilltops.
